We love the opportunity to learn here at Home Farm House so the chance to learn some basic skills and techniques of willow weaving, whilst creating a decorative willow flower or boat tray sounds incredible.
Join The Coddiwomplers at Deepdale Farm to learn the basics of willow weaving. Emma and Stuart are teachers and basket weavers based in South Norfolk. Stuart has been honing his craft for over 15 years, with Emma joining as apprentice a few years ago. The morning workshop will focus on the techniques required for weaving and basketry, and you’ll be taught how to craft a decorative willow flower. The afternoon workshop will again cover the basics and then you’ll be taught how to craft a decorative boat tray which looks great serving up some bread rolls or fruit.
